On the day of the second High-Level Roundtable meeting on the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability, the joint statement co-signed by PU Europe fully endorses enforcement as the critical issue for industry and society as a whole. The signatories ask the European Commission and EU Member States to ensure that new restrictions are 100 % enforceable and state that improving coordination and sharing of data between regulators, private sector and civil society can play a bigger role in supporting enforcement actions.
