In light of the European Commission’s proposed launch of the European Affordable Housing Plan, a group of industry associations has come together to support this significant step toward providing energy-efficient, affordable, and comfortable housing for all EU citizens. A joint letter, co-signed by PU Europe and other eight industry associations, outlines key priorities and recommendations aimed at guiding the Commission in its efforts.
The letter stresses the need to strike a balance between constructing new affordable, energy-efficient homes and renovating existing housing stock, which remains an urgent issue across the continent.
