Standardisation has become a major tool in the European integration process. PU European is actively involved in this process and has established liaison with the following CEN technical committees:

• CEN/TC 128 (Roof covering products)
• CEN/TC 350 (Sustainability of construction works)
• CEN/TC 351 (Construction products: assessment of release of dangerous substances)
• CEN/CENELEC Sector forum energy management
• ISO/TC 59 SC17 (Sustainability in construction)
